Tri-shutter Christmas Card

Not just any Christmas card but one using the tri-shutter folding technique :)

See what I mean? :)

I have been intrigued by this fold for so long but never have had the opportunity to try it out. I knew it wasn't one of those projects that I could just slip in between marking books and doing the laundry!

I definitely did the right thing to wait till the school holidays... took me half a day to get this done.

But so worth the while :) LOVE IT!!!

Card making is addictive

A friend needed some thank you cards and asked me if I could help out. Hence, these...

My first attempt focused on a teabag-folded medallion.

For the second, I thought I would test out my latest puncher... love it.

After 2 landscape designs, I just had to try a portrait.

I think card making is addictive... I couldn't stop at no.3

Ran out of card stock after that :)

MW Craft Nite

I was invited to do a craft lesson with the MW two Mondays ago. As they were going to be giving away cupcakes as door gifts on their Ladies Nite later next month, I browsed through the Net for ideas to decorate the plain little cupcakes.

So, after much thought, I decided on this little origami flower.

Originally made as part of a unit of kudusama or Japanese decorative flower balls, I have adapted them onto wooden skewers. The leaves are also origami-based.

Added a bible verse tag and that was it. Hope the ladies will enjoy the craft.

Punches from Daiso

Bought 2 Daiso border punches when I went out to Penang.

Isn't this border design sweet & pretty? (Ignore the loud colour I chose)

No regrets picking up this delicate design either

Sigh... now itching to do something with these :)

Windmill Tote

Can't remember how I arrived at this block...

It has the windmill effect, thus it became the windmill tote.

The back is a solid brown
